With around 20 years' experience in energy medicine, Fiona is an expert in facilitating harmony in mind, body, spirit and environment.
Fiona has been in computers for most of her working life. In her twenties, she taught office workers in the use of various software packages, learning cutting edge IT skills in the process and, on having a family, she then turned her talents to teaching children how to read phonetically.
On finding herself divorced with three small children in tow, she began to wonder if there was a bit more to life. It was then that a friend introduced her to Feng Shui for which she found she had a natural talent.
Coming across first Roger Green and then Joseph Yu, Fiona honed her Feng Shui talents with Time/Space Feng Shui confirming what she had suspected - that Feng Shui is a complex dance with a rhythm to it that can be learned, manipulated and channelled to human advantage. Flying Stars Feng Shui is the structure through which the rhythm becomes apparent and the compass is the key.
When she came across Reiki she recognised it as a homecoming. Becoming a Master/Teacher in 1997, adding Seichem, 7 Facet Seichim and Karuna Reiki over the next few years, Fiona has taught in California and Virginia as well as in the UK. A popular teacher, she is acknowledged as caring and grounded, with a wealth of knowledge and generous approach.
In the 90s Fiona also began to study Holographic Repatterning (now Resonance Repatterning), from there moving into Emotional Freedom Techniques and Meridian Tapping Techniques. She has had several articles published, both on Gary Craig's website and elsewhere.
Currently developing her own Five Element approach to energy medicine, Fiona continues to extend her skills through continuing professional development courses such teachers as Elaine Harris, Terri Charles and Fran Borges and through sharing Reiki and swapping tapping sessions with friends and colleagues.
In 2008, Fiona graduated with First Class Honours from Edinburgh Napier University, with a full third of her degree focused on Psychology.
Fiona is a UK Reiki Federation Master/Teacher Member and subscribes to the Alternative and Complimentary Therapies self regulatory framework.
